I thought I would write a quick note about the things I've learned about pregnancy so far:
-Chocolate Shake is NOT good the second time around!
-If I have a question about my symptoms don't ask Mom or Sunny, apparently I'm very weird and I have weird symptoms. Thank goodness for pregnancy blogs that put my mind at ease!!
-As soon as you tell people you're pregnant, you get sick. (I was queasy before but during the last week I have felt yucky)
-When you go out (even just to Wal-mart) make sure you look good. A guy in line behind me said to me "No need to look so sad". Apparently I looked like crap.
-Stay away from Chinese food and scrambled eggs!!
-When taking your prenatal vitamins, make sure your stomach is Full, not just kinda full.
Nate and I are so thrilled that I am pregnant and I would gladly take these "joys" if it meant we could have a child. I really haven't been very sick at all, I was able to hide it from both families through Thanksgiving, Christmas, and a wedding. I was surprised we were able to keep it a secret at all. We did tell our parents, so I had a few people I could talk to about it, but I was kinda scared that my Dad would spill all the beans. Occasionally he would say things to me like "You're sick?, good stay that way" (my brother was standing right next to me) or during the holidays he would pay close attention to my eating habits. All in all I have felt great.
I've had a lot of people asking me questions about the pregnancy and I haven't had much time to reply so I'll try to answer all questions now. I'm not sure when my due date is yet. The doctor wanted to wait for the next ultrasound to give an exact date. When I went in for my appointment I thought I was 10 maybe 11 weeks, but the baby was measuring almost exactly at 12 weeks. So if we go off the size of the baby my due date would be July 31st. (Like the hottest day of the year, excellent!) We will know the sex of the baby sometime at the end of February. Nate wants a little girl, (actually he just wants a clone of our niece Kanela) and I want a boy but either way we will be soooooo happy. We have thought of some names but we will not be disclosing them until we know what we're having, we're secretive people I'm finding out. (I've mentioned some of the names before).
Nate is just as happy as can be. He's always trying to hear the heartbeat of the baby by pressing his ear to my tummy. He tells me "hold your breath, stop making noises with your stomach, your heartbeat is too loud" It's pretty funny. And I ask him every day "Do I look pregnant" still the answer is no, but if I'm not careful my gut can be decieving. One night he said to me "oh look you have a little belly", I responded "no, that's not where the baby is, I'm just bloated". He's a little more careful about that now. We are soo thrilled about bringing a child into the world, we've been wanting this for quite a while now, and we feel so blessed to be trusted with such a sacred responsibility. Thanks for all the congratulations and support from all the people we love!

Aww you poor girl. I hated the 1st trimester but at least you're almost done with it! :) If you need anything, let us know. We'd be glad to help you out! Also, I liked to go to www.pregnancy.com and you can click on your week and see how big your baby is compared to fruit so you can actually SEE how big he/she is. :)
Heather I am so happy fo ryou guys. After being pregnant twice i dont envy you at all. LOL all you ever want is to be pregnant and then towards the end all you want is NOT to be pregnant and then after about 6 months all you want is to be pregant again. Althought i cant say i feel for you when it comes to being sick with 2 pregnanies i have never been sick a day of it. :) i wish you luck and tons of fun :)
I am so sorry that you are sick. It sounds like you have a good outlook though. I always tried to think of being sick as a good thing...it didn't always work-hehehe. We are all so excited for you around here. Can't wait to see what you are having!!!
Hey Header,
Sounds like you are enjoying the symptoms of pregnancy:) So... am I your dumb brother that was standing next to Dad??? I hope not. Glad to hear things are going. Sounds like Nate is excited! Good luck hearing the heart beat buddy. Love you guys!
We are so ready for the little guy to grace us with his presence also. Its really frusterating Nolan, because he knows that when the little guy comes that he has a whole week off of work. He is ready for a week off, and it kills him not knowing when it's going to be.
About the pictures of me and the nursery... we have an old camera that my family let us have and it didn't come with any cords or anything so we have no way of hooking our camera to the computer. So, we are going to have to make a CD at Wally World and then post the pics. Sorry, I have been wanting to get pics up for a while now and that has been slowing us down.
That is great that the dumb brother wasn't Nolan, I am sure he will feel relieved.
We will write later, Love Ya!
Keree & Nolan
Hey! I happened upon your blog! Cameron and I learned that you can hear the heart beat with a stethoscope (one of those doctor things). I think I was in the last trimester when we could. It is so fun when the dad can feel the baby kick and just some of the things that you feel all the time. Congratulations again! We are so excited for you!
