I'm back!
During conference weekend we took Abby on her first long roadtrip. We went up to Utah to visit our friends and so she could meet her great grandparents for the first time. She did so good in the car. We drove through the night on the way up and she slept the whole time! We had such a good time visiting with our buddies Curtis and Courtney, and it was a much needed break from work! We did crafts and ate lots of yummy food, and cursed Utah for having such nasty weather, but it was still fun! I'm still kicking myslef because we took zero pictures, except on the way home we had to get a shot of Abby going over the Hoover Dam for the first (actually 2nd) time. We woke the poor girl up for the picture and she has a binki ring on her mouth, but it was worth the picture!
It makes me so sad that this precious little girl is growing so fast. She's 8 months old now, and I know I say this in every post, but my baby is changing so much, and learning so fast! Her baby smell is slowly leaving as she explores new things and makes messes. She's going through a very clingly stage, and I know I complain so much about not being able to get anything done, but secretly I love that all she wants is to be held or that she just wants me to watch her play. She fits into 12month size clothes, and she's just as tall as ever. She is such an observer, she loves to watch people. It's hard to get her to laugh most of the time (although she does laugh for little kids!) But she is still a happy, content little baby. She has 4 teeth (2 on top and 2 on bottom) and is exploring them. Nate and I have both been bitten a few times (not while nursing though, she knows better than that!). And she is finally starting to sleep and nap better (most of that is my fault, we drag that poor girl around so much as soon as she gets used to something, we go on a road trip, or live in 2 different places!) She has also learned how to say no, thanks to her cousins who tell her "no, no baby". Abby says "na na na na", and shakes her head no. It's the cutest thing, I just wish she would learn "yes" instead. She also knows how to wave, I need to take more videos of these things! I am seriously loving being her mom. I don't know what I would do without my Abby, I am so grateful for her sweet little spirit, and although I don't want her to grow up, I'm excited that I get to watch her grow and learn new things!

Happy Valentines Day!

What just happened.....
She has started eating rice cereal. She made some awesome faces when we gave it to her the first time! But she's starting to get used to it, and I think she likes it.
Us and our friends Justin and Makenzie.

(I yanked this picture from Makenzie thanks!)
Also while we were in Tucson Abby and her cousin Daniel became best friends!!! When we got there Daniel was sleeping and the second his eyes opened he said "Abby", and jumped off the couch to come see her (he was so sleepy he tripped on the way!) And anything he did was the most hillarious thing in the world to Abby. She has never laughed this hard in her life! Nate and I stand on our heads to try and make this girl laugh, and all Daniel had to do was look at her and she cracked up! They just love eachother so much!

Time Flies!
I cannot believe how fast the last four months have gone by! Abby turned four months old yesterday, and I am not happy about it. She is growing way too fast!
Here are a few things about Abby:
- She is such a good baby!
- She loves to smile, especially when you smile at her
- She can roll over (whether or not it's intentional is up for debate)
- She's a drooler, and it usually shows up all over my shoulder.
- She is very attentive, and she likes to watch tv or videos on my camera.
- She loves to watch herself in the mirror.
- She is stingy with her laughs, you should see the tricks Nate and I do to get one out of her!
- She is the most beautiful baby (at least in my eyes)
- She makes the cutest noises
- She is spoiled rotten with hugs and kisses
- She is shy, when she's in a new enviornment with lots of new faces she gets scared.
- She LOVES her daddy
- She loves attention
- She's a good snuggler (at least when she's tired)
- She is just a happy little girl
- I love my Abby!
For Thanksgiving we went down to Tucson again, and Abby got to meet some of her great-grandparents. Here she is with Grandpa Jack.
