Pioneer Day Celebration!

Last weekend we went up to Snowflake for their annual pioneer day celebration. (Pioneer Day is on the 24th of July but in Snowflake they celebrated it the weekend before). Nate kept teasing me about having my baby either on the road or while we were in Snowflake, luckily we made it home and I'm definetly still pregnant!! All the Williams were able to make the trip this year, it was so much fun to have everyone together.
Nate decided to do a two mile run on saturday morning. He plays basketball once a week, but other than that doesn't do much running, so it was basically cold turkey! He came in 13th place over all (there were like 130-ish people running). But he had so much fun he wants to do a 10K in November.
Here's a blurry picture of Nate approaching the finnish line...

Exhausted
All the runners in the family. Roger, Nate, Kadi, Jamie, Kristin, and Talia. They all did so good! (Nate and Roger traded numbers Roger came in 3rd!)
Roger also did the race last minute and ended up coming in 3rd place! I don't know who he thinks he is.... ha ha! Good job Roger!
Later that night we went to the rodeo. Don't I look so comfortable in this picture?! NOT! ha ha
A good ol' bull ride

And there were fireworks after the rodeo. I have to admit Snowflake knows how to put on a pretty good time. We also went to the parade that morning, had a huge family potluck lunch with all the extended family, there were softball games, and lots of good eating at Grandma's house. I'm so glad we were able to go, it was such a good weekend, and we loved being with so much family!

This past weekend was crazy busy, but super fun! We had my baby shower, and lots of people traveled all the way up to Mesa for it. My friend Tania did a photo shoot of my big belly, and just hanging out with all the visitors! (not to mention the yucky stuff like work and such) But none the less it was a great weekend! My awesome parents bought us a crib that Nate put together. It was pretty interesting trying to fit it into our tiny apartment but we got it to work! We'll be staying here for the first little while of her life but we have plans to get into at least a 2 bedroom place, hopefully a house. So for a while things will be a little tight, but that's ok! Here's some pictures of Nate putting the crib together, and of my growing belly! (I'll hopefully get some pictures of my shower to post later)

Third trimester...

I am officially in my third trimester, 28 1/2 weeks. I'm feeling bigger and bigger every day, and I'm eating more and more (hmmm funny how that works). This whole pregnancy has been so good, I have truly been blessed. Our little girl is very active and she gets the hiccups a lot!!!! So far today I think she's gotten them 4 times for at least 15 minutes every time. It's so crazy to think we're starting to count down the time till we get to meet this precious little girl. We're starting to do some shopping, I'm working on finding a crib, and bedding which has been so much fun! Only about 12ish weeks to go!!

I love otter pops!

The belly...

So, I really hate taking pictures by myself, but everyone wants to know what the belly looks like so here you go. The background is lame, and Nate has a hard time getting a good angle. If he stands he's too tall, and I have skinny legs, and if he kneels I look like I have a huge belly, so this is the best we could do!

Nate took me out last week for my birthday. He got me some beautiful flowers (strategicley placed behind me in the pic.) And we went to Islands for dinner, it's a burger place, I would have choosen something more fancy for my birthday but that's what I was craving! I ate so much stinking food, it was sick! I had such a wonderful birthday, my husband is the best!

This baby is very active, she is constantly wiggling around, it's tons of fun! I'm 25 1/2 weeks (almost 6 months) pregnant, and I'm feeling great. Bending gets harder and harder every day, and I already HATE sleeping on my side, but that's ok I'd better get used to it. My memory and brains altogether are going. The other day I wasn't paying attention and burnt some of my bangs off with the blow-dryer, oops! (luckily that hasn't happened with any of my clients at work though!) Life is wonderful for Nate and I, he is the most anxious person I know, August just isn't coming soon enough!

Happy Easter!

Nate and I did absolutly nothing for Easter this year. It was so good to relax and do nothing. Although Nate did make some delicious pancakes for me. I asked him to make me an easter bunny pancake because for every holiday my mom used to make special pancakes for example St Patricks day- green pancakes, Valentines day- pink hearts, etc etc. I told Nate in order to be a good Dad he had to practice his skills now, and boy did he deliver!!!!!

I was cracking up when he brought these to me. I honestly thought "There's no way he can make an easter bunny out of pancake batter", I was so wrong! I guess this means Nate is going to be the best Dad ever!

It's a..............

GIRL!!!!!!!!!!
And we are so EXCITED!!!!! But I was completely shocked! I was so sure we were having a boy, that we haven't even really thought of any girl names! Our ultrasound today was really cool. Our doctor sent us to a different place to do an in-depth ultrasound. We got to see our little girl in 3D, we got a TON of pictures on a CD, and a DVD!!! It was so cool to see her moving around, which she does a lot! I've been feeling her a lot in the last 2-3 weeks and it was confirmed today she is a squirmer!! The tech was getting a little frustrated because the baby was moving around so much. It took forever for to get a good measurement of her heart and spine, for the most part she kept herself curled up in a little ball. I had to walk around for a while to get the baby to move around so we could get a better shot. Over all we spent almost 2 hours watching our little baby. Here are a couple of my favorite pictures:
The profile

Here she is, she's a skinny little thing, so Nate keeps talking about how I don't eat enough. ha ha.

Her feet. The tech was laughing at this picture cause she said "I think her 2nd toe is longer than her 1st". That's from her mother, poor child.

This is my all time favorite picture of the day. Her feet look long, but adorable! The 3D ultrasound was way cooler than I was expecting.

Everything looked great today, nothing to give the Dr. any concerns. Heart rate was great, everything was measuring wonderful. They said our little girl is in the 26th percentile, and looked perfect!! We are so grateful and blessed and can't wait to have our little girl in our arms!

Here's the belly. I won't be fitting in to most of my clothes pretty soon!
